This New Moleskine Collection Will (Literally) Give You All the Feels
For diehard paper goods nerds who love journaling, sketching and other pen-to-paper endeavors, Moleskine has long been the gold standard for notebooks. The perfectly-sewn spines allow them to lie flat when opened, the high-quality paper is acid-free and satisfying to the touch, and the design is simple and true, making them a classic for the ages. The Italian journal-makers have been known to come out with some cool limited editions since founding the company in the 1990s, but this season’s collection is the touchiest, feeliest one yet.
The latest special series, Blend, features an array of highly touchable covers made with checked jacquard designs that feel a bit like soft tweed. Calling it a “brand new tactile experience,” the brand explains that the collection has “shed its dark coat” and “embraced a new textured jacquard fabric and a natural color palette.”
Perfect for curling up on a winter’s evening with a cup of tea and a big imagination, the books are nubby, preppy and cozy as can be. Available in both large ($22, blue or red) and small ($16, green or purple) with contrasting elastic bands and either 192 (small) or 240 (large) pages, the ruled books are only available for a limited time. Get yours now or be stuck with a plain cover on your next notebook — which, come to think of it, isn’t a bad thing at all when it’s one of these classic beauties.
