These Are Naomi Watt’s Fave Age-Defying Beauty Products
Naomi Watts will be 49 this September 28, but thanks to not only a fashion-forward haircut and glowing skin, she still looks like a Hollywood ingenue. To say The Glass Castle actress has an enviable complexion is an understatement beyond belief: Girlfriend is straight up RADIANT.
Luckily for us, the star let us in on some insight as to how she keeps her dewy look fresh today in a blog post from ONDA Beauty — a site by Larissa Thomson (a former fashion market director for the likes of Glamour and InStyle) and Sarah Bryden-Brown that aims to curate and create the best natural products on the web.
In it, the ladies spill the beans on which all-natural products they’ve recommended to help Watts keep that youthful glow she’s known for: Find out which age-defying picks she’s using below!
1. African Botanics Clay Oxygenating Cleanser ($60): ONDA recommends this cleanser for Watts’ mature, dry, and sensitive skin, and is made with Baobab fruit, which has vitamin C to nourish. It also has clay to help unclog pores and improve impurities, with essential oils of sandalwood and cedarwood to calm, rebalance, and rejuvenate. Rounding out the mix is jasmine blossom, which stimulates cell renewal in her face and diminishes fine lines and wrinkles — smooth as butter, baby!
2. Immunocologie Exfoliating Lotion ($150): The glycolic acid in this exfoliator helps Watts’ skin gleam as it lifts away dead skin while its lactic acid helps create new, shiny cells beneath. Best of all, it works for all skin types, as it can detect your skin’s sebum and pH balance for maximum benefit. ONDA sugges using it to diminish surface spots, reduce discoloration, and promote a healthy, happy face.
3. Marie Veronique Gentle Retinol Night Serum ($110): This one may be worth its $110 price tag, considering it works while you sleep to build collagen and add anti-oxidants, for what ONDA calls “near-miraculous” results. So THAT’S the actress’s secret — no wonder why they call it “beauty sleep!”
4. Bottega Organica Balance Face Cream ($78): This little delight, produced on a farm in upstate New York, is thick and uber-hydrating — just like Watts likes it. What’s more, it’s got Tulsi to regulate sebum (there’s a BIG difference between shine and grease), French lilac for rejuvenation, and Lactobacillus for probiotic benefits. Sold!
