Nasty Gal + Vans = The Summer Shoe Collab All Cool Girls Need
Any time Nasty Gal announces something, our ears perk up (remember Lena Dunham and Sophia Amoruso’s hangout sesh?! Swoon). The latest collaboration from the stylish site is one that brings back a little middle school vibe — in a good way. Vans has teamed up with Nasty Gal to create two summer sneaks that combine nostalgia with comfort. What it all adds up to is a shoe we’ll be rocking with everything from overalls to gingham dresses.
The leather high top, called the Step-Up Platform ($90) has an abstract, totally ’90s street-wise black and white platform sole.
The Get Low Slip On ($75) has pink accents and a subtle, signature ’90s pattern embossed into the leather.
Nasty Gal, which opened its first free-standing store in Los Angeles late last year, will have these slices of nostalgia available both in store and online. The only thing missing from this collaboration is some SoCal sunshine — and maybe a sheet of Lisa Frank stickers.
How would you rock these kicks? Tell us in the comments!
