This is the Golden Age of freebies, apparently. Though we may have grown accustomed to free coffee and free ice cream on special days, most of us have resigned ourselves to the idea that we’re probably not going to be handed free delecable, home-style chocolate chip cookies. Well, that’s about to change, because in honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day (yep, that’s a thing), DoubleTree by Hilton hotels are giving away their now-famous ooey, gooey welcoming cookies on August 4th.
You read that right — this is coming on up TODAY. And lucky for you, you don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to garner a treat. You just have to want a chocolate chip cookie (and who doesn’t?).
And just in case you didn’t hear, DoubleTree released a cookbook back in April. The travel-themed cookie cookbook lets you make the hotel’s iconic dessert right in the comfort of your own home. It also features unique twists on the recipe from all corners of the globe (think s’mores cookies, cookie cream pies, and cookie burgers).
