Is there anything better than rosé in the summer? If it’s super hot, you can cool off with the UK-based boozy rosé popsicles or quench your thirst with an iconic frosé. There’s even gorgeous rosé chocolate for those of us who can’t get enough. But if you’re looking for your wine in a hurry, there’s now a Hamptons vineyard that’s offering up wine-to-go with their first-of-its-kind drive-thru.
Wölffer Estate Vineyard has been leading the charge for east coast wines for the last few years, and owner Joey Wölffer has made it her mission to bring fun, delicious drinks to the Hamptons. “The rosé drive-thru had been a dream of mine for a while, and we are so glad it’s come to fruition,” Wölffer told The Business Insider. “We are all about serving our community and this is just another example of that!”
Rosé has become the go-to drink for many in the Hamptons, so much so that back in 2014, there was actually a shortage of the wine! While Wölffer doesn’t expect the same thing to happen this year, she is planning on selling her vintages in a very specific way. In order to keep things simple, you can’t buy individual bottles of wine in the drive thru, and instead, the Wölffer Estate Vineyard offers rosé by the case, starting at $195 for their classic version, and $260 for their “Summer in a Bottle.”
That should last for at least part of the summer, we think.
