How to Make Emoji Cookies *Insert Dancing Ladies*
If emoji are the new words, then emoji cookies are the new emoji. Rosanna Pansino of Nerd Nummies put together an adorably geeky tutorial on the subject, walking you through everything you need to know about making emoji sugar cookies from scratch. Even if they don’t turn out as spot-on as hers, they’ll still be the most delicious emojis since the little taco came out.
With a couple of clever cookie cutter hacks, this bubbly baker quickly creates the most perfect poo emoji and exact replicas of several iconic smilies. If we were to take on this task, we’d probably start with the ghost, which is our all-time favorite way to say, “We already left the party and now we’re home in pajamas watching Netflix… sorry for ghosting.” Pansino was recently nominated for a Streamy Award (which is kind of like the YouTube Oscars), and with her Grumpy Cat cakes, marshmallow challenges and these delightful emoji noshes, it’s easy to see why.
