Netflix Is About to Get More Expensive for Some Users
It’s no secret that we love Netflix, and we know we’re not alone with roughly 17 million subscribers to the service that gives us (almost) all of our favorite shows and movies. But you might not realize that if you jumped on the Netflix ride back-in-the-day, there’s a chance that you’ve been enjoying a lower price than newer users. Now brace your financially future-minded self, because that sweet $7.99 deal is about to disappear the way your fave movie will suddenly vanish from your curated list.
Nowadays, access to our beloved Netflix costs $9.99 per month when you sign up, and it turns out that eeee’rybody’s gonna have to pony up the additional pennies. Starting in May, you’ll want to take a peek at your bill and decide for yourself if the extra two bucks is worth it. Think really hard… You decided in, like, a split second, didn’t you? Yeah, us too.
Just remember that you’ll need Netflix to catch the return of the Gilmore Girls, the new seasons of Orange Is the New Black and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, not to mention season two of Fuller House. Yeah, they’ve got us hooked!
Are you willing to pay whatever it takes to have access to precious Netflix, or do you have a price limit? Tweet us @BritandCo!
