Netflix’s New Job Listing Is What a Dream Job Looks Like
Netflix is definitely one of the coolest companies around. Besides being ranked by a Glassdoor industry survey as one of the most parent-friendly places to work, Netflix is constantly surprising us with cool announcements for great (and creepy AF) new TV shows and movies. And, as if we couldn’t be more happy about the streaming service that’s bringing us a new Gilmore Girls this year, they’re now offering up the chance at a dream job that is so cool, we hardly believe it’s even real.
The network’s show Chef’s Table is currently on the lookout for a full time Instagrammer. What does the job consist of, you might ask? Well, it’s about snapping pics of food for sure, but not just any food. You’ll be traveling around the world while they film the second season of the runaway hit, sharing some of the most gorgeously delicious looking food in the world. Asia, Europe and even right here in the US, if you can “express your love of food through photography,” this job might be right for you.
There’s a pretty big catch, however. The show’s only accepting applications for people from Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, India and Southeast Asia, as the show is produced in Asia by their Netflix counterpart. They’re accepting applications via Instagram so, at the very least, we can check out all the gorgeous food photos while we wait patiently for season two of Chef’s Table to be released.
