Neve Campbell Has Adopted a Baby Boy With the Coolest Name
Party of four: Neve Campbell’s family has gained a member! The House of Cards actress took to Instagram last night to make the big announcement that she and husband J.J. Feild adopted a baby boy five months ago.
“Sheer joy!!!!” she captioned a shot of her new family. “So it’s been a secret up until now as J.J. and I wanted to wait until it was official, but we adopted a beautiful baby boy five months ago.”
The ‘00s Scream queen also revealed her new son’s name, saying, “His name is Raynor and we are madly in love with him. Our 6-year-old son Caspian is over the moon and asks every morning, ‘Can I hold my baby? Can I feed my baby? Can I play with my baby?’ It’ s the most incredible thing we’ve ever experienced.”
The name keeps in line with the unusual moniker Campbell and Feilds chose for their eldest babe, which the mommy of two revealed was entirely intentional. “I like the idea of an unusual name,” she said during an appearance on The Talk back in 2012. “I like having a unique name — it’s [my mom’s] maiden name, Neve, and not a lot of people have it. It’s nice having something special and different and so I wanted something like that for our son.”
Campbell, 44, also thanked Raynor’s biological brood, writing, “We’re so grateful for this beautiful light coming into our lives and we think of and are grateful to his birth family every day for such an incredible gift. This picture was taken moments after our adoption became official yesterday and I’ve been dying to share our news with you all!!”

The little one joins the former Party of Five crew’s growing extended family — Campbell, who played Julia Salinger on the show, visited her onscreen little sister Lacey Chabert and her own daughter, Julia Mimi Bella, back in May.
