24 August Beauty Launches We’re Shopping Now

As we flip our planner pages to August, it’s time to acknowledge that the dog days of summer are officially here, making it all the more important to find the best beauty buys to withstand the heavy heat and humidity. For refreshing skincare routine must-haves, long-wear makeup options, and the ultimate hair product to protect against humidity, shop our favorite August 2018 beauty launches from BeautyBlender, Kat Von D, Urban Decay, and more.
BeautyBlender Bounce Liquid Whip Long-Wear Foundation ($40, Available August 10): The brand known for its iconic makeup sponges took it a step further with the launch of lightweight, long-lasting foundations that have been over 10 years in the making. Available in 32 inclusive blends, the full-coverage foundation is built to accommodate each and every skin tone for up to 24 hours of smudge-free wear. What’s more, the dreamy foundation comes housed in a unique 45-degree angle dispenser, making it a cinch to use with everyone’s favorite makeup application tool.
Peach & Lily K Beauty Skincare Collection ($39 - $79): One of the beauty industry’s top-selling K-Beauty destinations decided to dip their toes into the world of skincare with their very own eponymous brand. With just five products, you might think this skin care line is simple, but as soon as you peep the results, you’ll realize it’s anything but. The Glass Skin Refining Serum aims to achieve the glassy, poreless skin synonymous with Korean Beauty trends, and the Pure Beam Luxe Oil helps to rebalance combination skin, simultaneously addressing both dry and oily areas. The Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream helps combat free radicals to deliver a protected and corrected youthful-looking skin tone, and the Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask gently exfoliates skin thanks to a combination of AHAs and BHAs. The Glow Sheet Mask Set creates the appearance of 8 hours of sleep in a mere 15 to 25 minutes.
Drybar x Too Faced Glitter Spritzer ($20): Get excited, beauty babes; two of our very favorite brands have joined forces to bring us the grown-up version of our favorite Limited Too hair product. Equal parts hairspray and glitter, this Drybar x Too Faced collab is your new finishing touch for your going-out looks.
Becca Cosmetics Glow Elixir ($48, Available August 3): The queen of all things gorgeous and glowing is taking a break from highlighter this month in favor of a much-anticipated skincare launch. Designed to hydrate, brighten, and nourish, you can look forward to this must-have elixir delivering the same light-reflecting look we've all come to know and love.
CALPAK Vanity Case ($75): If you’re a beauty babe, the ultimate dream is to be able to travel without your hair and makeup essentials taking over your entire carry-on. CALPAK understands the struggle, graciously answered our prayers, and launched the perfect carry-on companion just in time for end-of-summer travels. Designed with two spacious fully zippered compartments with additional mesh zippered pockets, you’ll feel organized and well-prepared for whatever your getaway throws your way.
IGK Trust Issues Instant Scalp Rebalancing Treatment ($29): Whether you want to pamper yourself with a pre-shower scalp treatment or relieve an itchy head as you’re heading out the door, this leave-on calming treatment is sure to become your new haircare BFF. It's formulated with apple cider vinegar and yuzu lemon extract, as well as a patented hydrogel time release technology. Your scalp will feel nourished and rebalanced in seconds. Simply spritz it on, massage it in, and go.
OUAI Scalp & Body Scrub ($38, Available August 21): Allow us to introduce you to your new favorite shower product. Designed to gently exfoliate skin, this sugar, probiotic, and coconut oil concoction is sure to make you swoon. Best of all, there will be two versions — one without ever-buzzy CBD, and one with.

OPI Peru Collection ($11-$13): As summer comes to an end, it's only appropriate to swap out your hottest colors of the season for something a touch cooler. Look no further than these 12 new Peru-inspired shades, ranging from deep burgundy to muted blue-gray. And, since the collection is available in classic Nail Lacquer, Infinite Shine, and GelColor formulas, you'll even be able to *nail down* how long you want your salon-perfect finish to last.

Innisfree Pore Clearing Clay Peel Off Mask ($13): Heavy heat and humidity, mixed with city pollution, often leads to one thing: clogged pores. Instead of picking and popping, try coating your face with this easy-to-apply, fun-to-remove peel-off face mask. Formulated with oil-absorbing volcanic clusters to deeply cleanse skin while mattifying it in just minutes, you can expect a smooth, shine-free visage that’s ready to take on the hottest days of summer.
Kat Von D Beauty Dagger Tattoo Liner ($20, Available August 20): Not the most-skilled wing-tipper? No worries! With KVD’s eyeliner launch you’ll be a pro in no time. Simply press the 30-degree angled brush tip against your inner upper lash line and trace it out past your outer corner. The expertly angled tip creates seriously straight edges without all the dragging.

Go-To Skincare ($12-$39): One of Australia’s favorite skincare lines has finally sailed the seas to the US. Officially available in the States, you can now stock up on the Down Under cult faves, including exfoliating face pads, antioxidant-rich facial oil, healing body oil, hydrating lip balm, a multi-tasking body balm, and a nourishing facial cleanser gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.

Goop G.Tox Collection ($20-$42): “The idea is using the best ingredients on the planet to cleanse, nourish, and detoxify our bodies, as well as engaging the senses in a really beautiful way, every day,” Gwyneth Paltrow says of her latest Goop launch, G.Tox. The five-piece collection features nature’s detoxifying ingredients — mineral-rich salts, hand-harvested glacial marine clay, and ultra-nourishing, organic cold-pressed oils — to create an all-over glow from head to toe. The complete collection features a dry brush, body scrub, salt scrub shampoo, clay body cleanser, and bath soak.
Urban Decay Lo-Fi Lip Mousse ($22): First there were lip glosses, now there are lip mousses. Despite the bold, statement-making colors — burgundy, red, plum, and magenta shades — these matte lip mousses are so lightweight that it feels like you’re wearing nothing at all. Wear a single color or dab on a personalized blend; whichever you choose, you’re sure to love the soft, blurred pop of color it creates.
Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Fragrance Line ($8-$15): For the first time in two years, the most beloved British bath brand has launched an entirely new fragrance collection that you won’t be able to get enough of. Formulated with coconut oil, hibiscus, mouth-watering cantaloupe, mango, and papaya — the Call of Fruity collection delivers skincare-lovers with deliciously-scented body lotion, body butter, body wash, and hand cream for a head-to-toe, thirst-quenching tropical escape.
HAIRSTORY Lift ($38): Take your hairstyle to new heights with this thickening style mist that works magic from roots to ends. It's formulated with a blend of thickening, shaping resins, and a single spritz breathes new life into your locks without ever weighing them down.
Kiehl’s Youth Dose Eye Treatment ($39): The fanatics asked for a formula to both prevent and correct the signs of aging around the eyes, and Kiehl’s answered with this much-anticipated eye treatment. Powered by Pro-Retinol, red grape seed extract, and vitamin Cg (a form of vitamin C known to improve texture), the ultra-hydrating eye treatment instantly smooths and brightens the under-eye area, reducing the appearance of fine lines, dark circles, and puffy bags.

Laura Geller Filter First Concealer ($24): Formulated with finely crushed pearls, this creamy medium-coverage concealer works to blur imperfections with a single swipe. As if the light-reflecting formula itself weren't enough, its sponge-tip applicator means a smooth, fuss-free application is easier than ever.

Stila Heaven’s Dew All Over Glimmer ($25): There’s light-reflecting highlighter, and then there’s Stila’s new Heaven’s Dew All Over Glimmer. The long-lasting, bouncy formula creates a glossy, glowing effect that looks like the KiraKira filter in the flesh. And, let’s be real, in a world full of highlighter-obsessed beauty junkies, who doesn’t want to look like a shimmering diamond?
Bare Minerals Love Every Lash Micro Defining Mascara ($19): Lower lashes can be a total drag when it comes to applying mascara. Designed with an ultra-skinny brush that targets those pesky bottom lashes, this mascara delivers a smudge-free application each and every time.
n:p beautiful Smoothing Shampoo ($29) and Conditioner ($30): Don’t let humidity mess up a good hair day. Formulated with plant extracts and oils sustainably sourced from the Amazon, not to mention N:p Beautiful’s revolutionary plant-based stem cell, you can expect healthy, happy hair that looks smoother than ever with each and every rinse.
Hourglass Caution ($29): Length? Check. Volume? Check. Lift? Check. In other words, this all-in-one amplifying mascara is a true hero when it comes to dramatic lashes. The dual-amplifying design features two brushes in one to ensure expertly coated top and bottom lashes every time.
DevaCurl SuperStretch ($30, Launching August 2): Ready to rock your ringlets without fear of frizz? This styling jelly is formulated with coconut oil and coconut water to expertly define texture without weighing it down. Made without sulfates, parabens, silicones, and other common ingredients that wreak havoc on kinky hair, you can look forward to a head full of picture-perfect spirals.
Mighty Patch Invisible + ($18): Whenever you feel the urge to pick a pimple, keep your paws off and put a patch on it. Mighty Patch’s new hydrocolloid patches work by absorbing all the gunk from within a blemish, gradually flattening it over time. The best part? This new insanely thin design comes equipped with tapered edges, making them so undetectable that you can actually wear them under makeup.
AHAVA Dunaliella Algae Refresh & Smooth Peel-Off Mask ($45): Designed to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, this antioxidant-rich face mask works to deliver results that are like a filter IRL. Featuring black bamboo charcoal powder, pro vitamin A, and Silicuim, an ingredient used to ensure skin’s integrity thanks to its bonding properties with the connective tissue of the skin, this powerful peel-off mask works to replump fine lines and wrinkles for an instantly volumized complexion.
