New Kids on the Block’s “Thankful” Video Is an Adorable (and Sizzling) Tribute to Fans
New Kids on the Block released their new “Thankful” video today, and we can’t decide what caught our attention more: the adorable tribute to fans who have loved the band for 30-plus years, or the sizzling hot shots of the fellas working out, on stage, flashing their chiseled abs, and showing off their impressively built arms.
With the title track on their “Thankful” EP, NKOTB definitely wanted to take an opportunity to show their fans how grateful they are for the support that has now spanned decades.
Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood are currently on tour, lighting up arenas across North America, and their new video gives us a peek at their lives on the road.
Clips of the five guys traveling on their tour bus and hopping on a private plane are interspersed with glimpses of them backstage with their families, keeping in shape, and, of course, performing in front of thousands of screaming fans who are just as enthusiastic now as they were the first time they nabbed an NKOTB ticket.
The video also features “Blockheads,” who still own their original tees and band buttons and have pics of themselves as kids heading to New Kids’ concerts. It’s an incredibly sweet tribute to the people who have loved the band ever since they were first “Hangin’ Tough” back in the day.
