New Series of Unfortunate Events Trailer Reveals Misfortune, Despair and Creepy Awesomeness
The first trailer for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events warned us of the “cruel whimsy and whimsical cruelty of what’s to come.” Our introduction to Count Olaf (AKA Neil Patrick Harris) was just as creepy. Now, the latest trailer gives us a look into the new (treacherous) lives of the Baudelaire orphans and their unfortunate situation.
Giving us a peek at the quirky cast of characters, fairy-tale (and nightmare-like) sets and the titillating tale of the children who aim to escape their murderous guardian, the man who is merely after their late parents’ fortune, the trailer shows us that “something strange is going on,” according to young Klaus Baudelaire. No doubt, kiddo. No doubt at all.
We can’t wait to check out these Unfortunate Events when they come to Netflix on January, Friday the 13th, 2017. Until then, watch the trailer for yourself, but be prepared for misfortune, despair and super creepy awesomeness.
