Oh hey, look at that cake pan. Looks pretty normal, right? But what’s that little purple silicone cup? That is the reason that this cake pan, Nibble, is our new favorite baking tool. Can you guess what it is?
It’s a mini cake pan! How smart is that? The idea behind Nibble is that if you’re trying a new recipe, you want to be sure the cake turned out well before serving it to guests. And you can’t really do that without cutting into the layers, which would be a major faux pas. Nibble, lets you bake a bite-sized portion along with your actual cake.
But let’s be honest—we’re still going to use this pan even if we’ve made the same cake recipe a million times before. We always want a little bit of cake immediately after it’s come out of the oven. Just consider it quality control. ;)
