Here Is the Blue Mask Nina Dobrev and Her Friends Are Wearing on Instagram
Watch out, Blue Man Group! You’ve got some competition. Nina Dobrev posted a pic over the weekend of herself with a group of pals lounging poolside with their faces painted a eerie shade of cerulean blue. But it’s not face paint the ladies were wearing — it’s actually a mud mask!
Specifically, The Vampire Diaries actress and friends are wearing Glamglow’s GravityMud Sonic Blue Face Mask ($69), a limited-edition treatment created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog (!!) and the women gamers who love him.
“When I heard it was Sonic’s 25th anniversary, I knew we have to be involved and do a crazy, fun, and disruptive collaboration,” Shannon Dellimore, co-founder of Glamglow said in a press release. The product contains Glamglow’s signature Vizitight, which is a blend of their Firming Matrix, Marine Algae Plasma, and Biodefine Polymers, which tightens skin.
And it’s particularly cool because the mask turns metallic blue as it dries, and when it’s ready, you can peel it off to reveal brighter, more toned skin.
But don’t remove it before you take a selfie (and maybe a Boomerang of two) like Dobrev and her friends did!
Who’s going to add this mud mask to their self-care rituals? We know we are! Tweet us @BritandCo!
