Nobody Will Put This Dirty Dancing Makeup Palette in the Corner
As if we needed any more proof that the ‘80s were back in full swing, Sola Look, the same company who brought us that epic Flashdance makeup palette last year, is back at it with another movie makeup palette to play to our nostalgia: Dirty Dancing.
In honor of the movie’s 30th anniversary (!!), the indie beauty brand teased via Instagram awhile back that the product would be coming in early 2017. As the time for its release draws near, we’re getting a glimpse at some of the amazingness it will have to offer, and trust us when we say, you won’t want to put this makeup palette in a corner.
In addition to the potential shades the company posted upon its original announcement (which range from a Swayze pitch black hue to a light pale pink akin to Baby’s “lift” dress), our first sneak peek showcases the palette case, which has been modeled to look exactly like — get this — the movie’s old VHS cover. Talk about brilliant packaging.
Next, we’ve got one of the official eyeshadow swatches, and the name will make every fan’s heart skip a beat: I Carried a Watermelon. How perfect is that!?
Though we’ll still have to wait awhile to get our hands on the actual good, we’ll DEFINITELY be subscribing to the company’s email for more info here, and we strongly suggest that you do too: We’ve got a sneaking suspicion this one will go quick!
