Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers’ relationship sparked its fair share of buzz, even causing a very public rift between the Green Bay Packers quarterback and his family (which just happens to include his younger brother and Bachelorette winner, Jordan Rodgers). But now, the couple that caused sooo much drama has decided to call it quits after three years of dating.
It’s definitely no secret that the 33-year-old athlete completely pulled away from his family after he hooked up with the 36-year-old actress back in May 2014. While Munn gushed about her bae — “Aaron is different than every other man I’ve ever met,” she told Good Housekeeping in 2015, according to Us. “Everything a good person can be, he is.” — his family wasn’t pleased about the sitch. At all.
A source told Us, “Aaron is the one that has pulled away from the family, not the reverse. When he got together with Olivia Munn, his family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family.” While the NFL star’s dad, Ed Rodgers, touched on the rough situation on The Bachelorette, he simply added, “Fame can change you.”
Perhaps now that Aaron and Olivia have broken up, a reunion might be in order for the Rodgers family?
