There’s an *NSYNC Fashion Line on the Way, So You Can Say “Bye, Bye, Bye” to Your Money
’90s nostalgia is in full effect! Just yesterday, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter revealed the iconic music video that the band wasn’t wild about, and now, BSB’s rival group, *NSYNC, has a revelation of its own to share: They’re coming out with a new merch line to celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary!
That’s right: Next year will mark two decades since *NSYNC first started “Tearin’ Up Our Hearts” (can you even believe it!?), and the band has teamed up with Epic Rights to launch a whole new slew of apparel, accessories, and collectibles using imagery from *NSYNC’s “album covers, photos, logos, and art,” including — wait for it — a slot machine!
Though the collection likely won’t include the band’s once-signature red leather pants and oversized jean jackets, it will definitely be an excuse to toss that ratty old concert tee from 2001. (Fingers also crossed for a 2018 version of the No Strings Attached puppets!)
Lance Bass, who will serve as the liaison for the line, released a statement about the new partnership, which is slated for release early next year, saying, “The band is thrilled to create an exciting new line of new merch with Epic Rights in celebration of our 20 anniversary.”
As for the boys themselves, it’s seeming more and more unlikely they’ll ever reunite to make new music, but Bass DID tell Brit + Co back in August he certainly wouldn’t be opposed to a group puppy play date. We’ll also see the boys together once more “in a few months,” when they celebrate their upcoming star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
We can’t wait!
