Nutella Café to Open Its Doors, Making Our Sweet Dreams Come True
Sweet dreams are made of this! After dominating our breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks (and in some cases, hair dye), Nutella finally answered our prayers with its first restaurant.
Opening its doors on Chicago’s famed “Magnificent Mile” on Michigan Avenue as of May 31, guests at the Nutella Café will be able to enjoy the chocolate-hazelnut spread in all its tastiest forms, including the Liege Waffle (below), described as “caramelized brioche and ‘pearl’ sugar waffles with warm fruit compote, Nutella drizzle and toasted hazelnuts.” Yes, please.
Not a fan of breakfast? No problem. Try one of the resto’s more savory treats, such as the Bacon and Cheese Strata — a mouthwatering blend of bacon, melted leeks, Gruyere, poached egg, arugula fennel salad, hazelnuts, and spicy pepper.
In short? This place is foodie heaven. Better get in line if you plan to visit, though — word on the street is that opening day will have 400+ attendees. Yowza!
In the meantime, you can drool over the full menu here.
