Oh No! This Bachelor in Paradise Couple Just Called It Quits
Though it looks like one Bachelor underdog may have (finally!) found love, two other members of the romantic reality series universe are facing heartbreak. Though the Bachelor in Paradise saw Grant Kemp and Lace Morris (AKA “Grace”) happily engaged at the end of the matchmaking, we’re now forced to question the validity of love itself (no, we don’t think that’s too dramatic!), as the duo have announced that their engagement is off.
“It really was mutual,” 25-year-old Lace told Entertainment Tonight. “We both have our issues we need to work on, and we can’t really give each other what we need at this time. It’s just not the right timing.”
She also explained that she needs to focus on some self-improvement, which may have something to do with the reason she left the Bachelor back in the day (i.e. too many cocktails and cringe-worthy behavior). “I just started working on myself right before Paradise,” she added, “so I really haven’t had much time to do it. This was kind of an eye-opener. I still have more to work on.”

Grant has yet to say anything publicly about the spilt, though his most recent Instagram posts are either solo shots of himself or a pic along with seasonal sentiments where he’s apparently thankful for folks who are not Lace.
Though we’re totally bummed over the breakup, we’re happy to hear that Lace is taking care of herself.
