See the $12 Old Navy Dress That’s Breaking the Internet
Typically, when we hear about a fashion item the world is freaking out over, it’s something that’s going to take a substantial amount out of our bank account. The Birkin Bag, that one perfect work dress… you get the picture. But it appears as though today is our lucky day, my stylish friends. Because there is a summer dress that the Internet is LOVING, and it will probably cost you less than a meal out.
This striped swing dress from Old Navy is currently priced at $12 and has over 700 positive reviews on the site. Some of the reviewers have left comments like, “Great fabric and fits perfectly. This swim dress is adequate to hide part of your body that you don’t want to show. Highly recommended,” and “Very cute and comfy dress. Would flatter all body types.” It seems like such a simple garment, but, TBH, that’s really what makes it so great. Dress it up with a chic moto jacket + booties for an evening on the town or throw it on over your swimsuit for a trip to the beach.
Additionally, the popularity of the dress probably has a lot to do with the fact that it’s striped. According to trend forecasting company WGSN, stripes are the number one trend of summer 2016. Is this the summer of French girl style? If it is, we’re 100 percent okay with that.
