Old Navy’s New Warm Jeans Keep You Toasty Without the Bulk
Jeans are a year-round wardrobe staple but, let’s be honest, when it’s frigid in winter, there are few things worse than the rush of cold air that sneaks in through your denim and damn near freezes your legs. Layering leggings, tights, or long johns underneath was the only solution for stylish women to stay warm in denim — until now, that is. Old Navy’s Built-In Warm Jeans just officially changed the game.
And no, these in-jean-ious (see what we did there?) pants are not lined with fleece. That innovation has its merits but adds another layer of bulk, something most women presumably aren’t looking for. The Built-In Warm Jeans are instead made with denim that’s brushed back on the inside — a technique that creates the same warming effect as fleece (minus the extra volume).
No need to worry if the Built-In Warm Jeans will look good on your bod or fit your vibe, either. They’re offered in a variety of colors, including black, gray, and several blue washes, in the brand’s ultrapopular Rockstar Super Skinny and Rockstar Jeggings silhouettes (Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson, and Gina Rodriguez are fans). And of course, in true Old Navy form, these jeans are available in a vast range of sizes including regular (0-20), tall (2-20), petite (0-18), and plus (16-30) — and retail from $40 to $49.
We’re not sure we’ve been this excited about a denim innovation since Old Navy introduced their stain-resistant white jeans. Or as the brand puts it, we have “no chill.”
