You Need to See This Russian Oligarch’s Daughter’s Custom Wedding Dress
Wedding season is in full effect, and that means LOTS of wedding dress inspo to save to your pinboards. Between the gown Ally Hilfiger created with dad Tommy Hilfger and Victoria Swarovski’s insane crystal-covered masterpiece, there’s certainly been plenty to ogle this summer. Russian bride Lolita Osmanova, however, may have just topped them all with a gown with a train so massive, it didn’t fit on the pulpit.
Osmanova, daughter of energy tycoon Eldar Osmanova, wed her love Gaspar Avdolyan in an intricately beaded, custom creation by Lebanese-designer Zuhair Murad.

The big dress came with a reveal to match. Before her walk down the GOLDEN aisle, the bride stood behind two red curtains, which then parted to reveal her standing before a wall of flowers. Eat your heart out, Kimye. Osmanova was a vision in the off-the-shoulder, gold-hued piece, which was embellished with plenty of beading to match her trendy headpiece.

Then, there’s the train, which was another story entirely — it was so long it draped off the side of the stage!

And naturally, with a wedding of this caliber, the bride had a couple of wardrobe changes, including a fun ’40s inspired frock complete with fringe and feather detailing and a white ballgown complete with a black sash.
The wedding took place at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and featured a line of classic violinists and an insane spread of flowers. In total, the lavish wedding cost more than $10 million, which, in addition to the bride’s gorgeous gown(s), included a 10-tier wedding cake, $500,000 worth of floral arrangements, and performances by both Jason Derulo and Lady Gaga (!!).
Whew. Now that’s some party!
