This French Bed Linen Collection Is Shockingly Affordable
Dream of sleeping in luxurious French bed linens? Startup home brand Olive Wren has some of the dreamiest you’ve ever seen with prices that won’t give you nightmares. The NYC-based company is hoping to shake up the bedding business with its mid-May launch. Their philosophy: To create a mindful and modern home and to encourage people to purchase fewer but better things made with integrity. And ooh la la, talk about lovely.
Anni Stromfeld and her partner Jacob Xi founded the company because they saw a gap in the homeware industry. “On one side, you have department store luxury designer homewares at extravagant prices; on the other side, you have mass-produced supermarket homeware,” Stromfeld says. Olive Wren wants to fill that space with affordable, high-quality pieces that honor the importance of our space. “Home is such an important aspect of our lives. It’s a place that brings us peace, happiness, and love, a place that rejuvenates us and motivates us to grow,” she says.
The bedding is made of flax linen sourced in small batches from Southern France. Stromfeld says their direct-to-consumer business model and relationships with suppliers allow them to provide these products at accessible prices without sacrificing quality. The brand also partners with Joyful Heart Foundation to donate 5 percent of their sales to help domestic violence victims and survivors of sexual assault.
The style selection is limited, but the basic colors are timeless. Sheet sets and duvet cover sets range from $135 to $255. Shipping is free with orders over $50 too.
