After last night’s red carpet style had been photographed and Chris Rock’s unabashed opening monologue had been said, the Oscar awards were officially underway. But it appears that the biggest night in film isn’t complete anymore without a mid-show snack break. Back in 2014, Ellen ordered some pizza for all the stars hanging out in the Dolby Theatre, and this year Chris Rock had his daughter’s Girl Scout troop come and sell some of their famous cookies. Unsurprisingly, celebs whipped out five-dollar bills faster than you can say, “Thin Mints.”
One celeb who was super stoked about the unexpected treat? Olivia Munn. The best-dressed actress took to Instagram to share her and her boyfriend, NFL player Aaron Rodgers,’ reaction to scoring some unexpected Thin Mints and Savannah Smiles. Basically, they look exactly like we do every time we see a Girl Scout cookie stand outside the grocery store.
Olivia and Aaron looked pumped, but the real Girl Scout MVP of the evening may have been Morgan Freeman, who – while up on stage during the Oscars’ conclusion – stole a handful of cookies out of Michael Keaton’s hand, then proceeded to walk off. Now this is a man who has his priorities straight. We knew we liked you, Morgan.
