OMG: Style Me Pretty Is Coming Back!

Here’s some happy news to start off the week: Style Me Pretty, AKA the pre-Pinterest hub for all things wedding-related, is making a *comeback* — and it’s just in time for wedding season!

In case you need a refresher: the website announced earlier this month that it would shut down at the end of April after almost a decade of success. The news left fans heartbroken and confused, particularly because the site gave little indication as to why it planned to shutter. That said, we’re happy to report that things have taken a wild and wonderful turn! According to a notice on the website’s homepage, “…Style Me Pretty will remain open and will continue to share your beautiful weddings … as we transfer ownership of Style Me Pretty to [founder] Abby Larson.”

Guess who’s back. Back again. Woot woot! The mama of three confirmed the news via Instagram this morning. “Guess who’s back. Back again. Woot woot! You guys!!!! @stylemepretty isn’t going anywhere and if I start to really dive deep into my thank you’s I will never be able to compose myself,” she said. “I’m so proud and humbled and grateful to stand beside such amazing people and from the bottom of my heart … thank you. A million times over.” No comment yet on who or what saved the site, but we’re feeling #blessed that so much beloved wedding content isn’t going anywhere after all!

Fans have already flooded the media maven’s post with similarly celebratory comments. “I hear a collective sigh of relief and joy!! Best news ever!! 🎉❤️” one user remarked. Not only is the site here to stay, but it’ll be getting a bit of a revamp to boot! “I will have so much more to share about the new SMP in the days to come…” Larson teased, “but tonight? Tonight we are drinking champagne!”
