No-Bake Oreo Truffles in Just 3 Ingredients!

This is a favorite go-to treat for a number of reasons. It only has three ingredients, is practically foolproof to make, and is so chocolatey that you can get your sweet fix with just one truffle!

Ingredients:
– 1 pkg of Oreos

– 8-oz. of cream cheese

– 10-oz. of milk chocolate chips

Start by grinding up the Oreo cookies in a blender until you have a light powder. Next, mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs together until you can form a ball. It’s easiest to mix with your hands. Cover bowl with plastic and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

This makes it easier to form smaller balls. With a spoon, scoop desired amount and roll into a ball. Place them on a foiled tray and then back into the fridge to cool back down.

Now it’s time to melt your chocolate.

In a larger pot, heat water until it boils and then bring it down to a simmer. Place 1/3 of your chocolate chips into a smaller pot and place it in the hot water.

Chocolate Melting Pro Tips: Never let the water get in your chocolate, it will seize and become unworkable, and work slowly with lower heats. Don’t melt all of your chocolate chips at once, it may burn or if you don’t work fast enough, you’ll end up reheating it over and over again.

After your chocolate chips melts to a smooth workable consistency, take it out of the water carefully and begin scooping a bit into a bowl. One at a time, roll around a cookie balls until it’s covered in melted chocolate, and place it back on the foil tray. After you’ve finished covering all the cookie balls, place back them into the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Another great aspect of this recipe. there is a lot of room for to add to it. Throw on some sprinkles or some fruit in the middle. Happy experimenting!
