This Super Bowl Ad of NFL Players Styling Their Daughters’ Hair Is Adorable
The Super Bowl is four days away, and aside from watching one team fight their way into the annals of football glory, it’s time to get excited about game-time appetizers, football traditions and, of course, Super Bowl ads (Heinz has already released their squee-inducing contribution yesterday). With 114.4 million people tuned in last year, Super Bowl ads are the priciest advertising spots of all time — which is why companies pull out all the stops. Pantene has also debuted their latest, and it features a series of NFL players and their daughters. And yes, it is heart-meltingly sweet.
According to a 2006 study that investigated the benefits of father-daughter relationships over the course of 15 years, “well-fathered daughters are usually more self confident, more self-reliant, and more successful in school and in their careers.” Therefore, Pantene’s latest campaign encourages dads to spend time with their daughters, even if it’s as simple as just doing their hair to create what they’re calling Dad-Dos.
The series features DeAngelo Williams of the Steelers, Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys and Benjamin Watson of the Saints, plus their little girls. And trust us when we say, NFL players doing their little girls’ hair makes for some seriously entertaining and adorable business.
You can watch the entire series on Pantene’s YouTube channel, but we’ve linked a whole video for you to check out below!
