The Special Meaning Behind Paris Jackson’s New Tattoo Will Hit You Right in the Feels

Paris Jackson is no stranger to tattoos — the 19-year-old supermodel-in-training told Rolling Stone back in January that she had as many of 50, nine of which are dedicated to her late father, Michael Jackson.

Actually, better make that 10 — the Star actress has added one to the roster, just in time to honor him on the soon-to-be eighth anniversary of his June 25 passing.

At a quick glance, Jackson’s new scrawled “Applehead” script tattoo may not appear to make much sense, but as those who were close to the King of Pop know, it was actually a term of endearment he gave to those closest to him.

Showing off its position on her foot on social media, the Vogue cover girl wrote, “With every step I take, you lift my foot and guide me forward. Love you.”

We got a closer glimpse at her body art from her tattoo artist, Justin Lewis, who also shared a sweet shot of himself hugging the star, along with the caption, “@parisjackson I had an amazing time seeing ya today lil sis. Lots of love and light.”

It was a fitting choice for the young career-woman, who previously explained her penchant for ink in a lengthy post to Instagram, saying, “I appreciate art, I always have. Especially when that art means something to me,” she said.

Considering it doesn’t get much more personal than this, we think it’s a safe bet to say Jackson certainly appreciates her brand new masterpiece.
