Pat McGrath Labs is bringing the “mothership” of makeup collections to your beauty bags! After seven limited-edition (read: impossible) releases, the revered pro is launching a permanent collection of three eye shadow palettes, five eyeliner pencils, 40 lipsticks in both cream and matte formulas, and a mascara. “With this new iteration of Pat Mcgrath Labs, I am sharing my secrets, unzipping my 87 suitcases, and revealing the technique behind every eye, skin and lip I have ever created,” McGrath said in a press release. “These palettes, pencils, and lipsticks are my Fort Knox, my Bank of England vault." The collection drops online September 16 and at Sephora on October 4. We're ready.
The Mothership I Subliminal Eye Palette ($125): Includes 10 minimalist shades including taupe, gold, and lilac.
MatteTrance ($38), PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil ($25), Dark Star Mascara ($28): Red or a deep-toned neutral lips complement the palettes or wow on their own.
Mothership II Sublime Eye Palette ($125): Metallic rose, gold, and emerald are meant to lend the celestial glow as seen on Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen.
MatteTrance ($38), LuxeTrance ($38), PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil ($25), Dark Star Mascara ($28): In addition to the best-selling mattes, McGrath introduces a hydrating LuxeTrance version.
Mothership III Subversive Eye Palette ($125): Bold colors of amethyst, orchid and silver nod to McGrath’s “Use without caution” beauty MO.
MatteTrance ($38), LuxeTrance ($38), PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil ($25), Dark Star Mascara ($28): Deep, maroon-y reds and dark nudes pair with the rich colors of the Subversive palette, in particular.
