How to Make Peanut Butter Carrot Pupcakes for Your Dog (and Yourself!)
What better way to show your four-legged friend you care than by baking up some healthy homemade dog treats? Today, we’re showing you to make Peanut Butter Pupcakes. The best part? These can be enjoyed by dogs and people alike! For real. Just ask Brie (our resident Boston Terrier) and Sean (our marketing team rockstar) who taste-tested these bad boys for us :) Read on for the recipe.
Ingredients:
– 2 cups whole wheat flour
– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
– 3/4 cup vegetable oil
– 1/3 cup molasses
– 3/4 cup peanut butter + additional for frosting
– 1 cup shredded carrots
– 1/3 cup oatmeal
– 2 eggs
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, baking soda, vegetable oil, molasses, peanut butter, shredded carrots, oatmeal and eggs. Stir until combined.
2. Scoop batter into muffin cups. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool. Top each pupcake with peanut butter and enjoy!
