People Are SUPER MAD About Their State’s Fave Halloween Candy
There are plenty of options to choose from when picking your new fave Halloween treat — Candy Corn Oreos, Black Garlic Doritos and M&M’s Boo-terscotch just to name a few. But what would you choose as your all-time classic seasonal snack? Are you all about the tiny chocolate candy bars or do you delve into the Sweet Tarts roll? We might be able to guess based on where you’re from with handy new info that tells us what the most popular Halloween treat is in every state. And although all candy may have their yummy points, this sweet info has stirred up some bitter debate.
The candy map from product review site Influenster surveyed over 40,000 peeps to gather their treat-based info. Candy corn took the top spot in five states (Oregon, Wyoming, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina) while Sour Patch Kids are popular in New Jersey and Pennsylvania prefers Swedish Fish.
But not everyone is happy about the results. In fact, they’re downright bitter about these sweet deets.
