Pies + DIYs: Memorial Day Weekend Edition

Welcome to another episode of Pies + DIYs! In this episode, we updated an old accessory, making it into something new for Memorial Day. I turned basic white sneakers into flag kicks by using a mix of different types of fabric paint and painter's tape. To create the red striped sneaker, I made stripes using painter's tape and then sprayed the whole shoe with red fabric spray paint — which I LOVE. Once the shoe dried, I peeled off the tape to reveal the red stripes. For the star sneaker, I used blue fabric paint and blue puff paint to hand paint and then outline the stars to make them really stand out.
