People Are Always Asking Me Where I Got My… Wide-Leg Jumpsuit
Chasing down the perfect jumpsuit can be a bit of a challenge. Just like our neverending quest for the just-right denim fit, all onesies are not created equal. What works on top is often too tight on the bottom and vice versa, which is what makes scoring the right jumpsuit almost mythical. Because they’re having a moment this spring, we were elated to find out that Brit + Co’s Beauty Writer and Host, Beth Wischnia, has hit the jumpsuit jackpot. We sat down with her to find out why people can’t stop asking her about this warm-weather staple.
B+C: How did you discover your winning jumpsuit?
BW: I found my Adelyn Rae jumpsuit when I was browsing the sale section at Nordstrom before going on a trip to Greece where I had to wear white to an event. It was one of those shopping moments where it was the only one on the rack, it happened to be my size, and it fit perfectly.
B+C: What do you love about it specifically?
BW: I love the flattering fit. It’s the perfect length, I don’t have to wear a bra, and the straps are adjustable.
B+C: How often do you wear it?
BW: Well, I try not to wear it too much so it still feels special when I do put it on. I’d say I wear it two to three times a year.
B+C: What items from your closet do you pair it with?
BW: I love to wear it with my pink faux leather jacket or my Levi’s jean jacket from a vintage store in my neighborhood. Or quality loafers and a black purse (my fave right now is from Clare V) are also go-tos.
While Beth’s particular jumpsuit was SO good it sold out fast, don’t fret, BB’s! We found some amazing options to shop instead. Complete your spring wardrobe with the Forever 21 Stripe Wide-Leg Jumpsuit ($45, above) or the Levi’s LMC Beach Stripe Jumpsuit ($348, below).
