On a busy night, there’s nothing more convenient than ordering pizza. Pizza night just got even BETTER, however, because one of our go-tos for quick and easy pie, Pizza Hut, is now offering up another handy item with your delivery: BEER AND WINE!
That’s right! As of January, customers in Phoenix, Arizona will be the first to test the service, which will allow customers to add selections of beer (including Bud Light, Shock Top, Budweiser, and local brand Kilt Lifter) or wine for one flat low rate of $11.
While the company says it’s undecided about whether to offer full bottles or single servings of wine, it will be expanding beyond Phoenix to unknown locations after its launch in an effort to help boost sales, according to CNN Money. As Pizza Hut’s Director of Brand Marketing, Stacy Lynn Bourgeois, told the outlet, “We’re excited to offer the convenience of beer and wine delivered to a customer’s home.
Um, us too! Never having to leave the couch to get a glass of Cabernet with all that cheesy goodness is basically what dreams are made of. Between this and the restaurant’s new pizza-stuffed pockets, it’s shaping up to be a pretty good cheesy pie year, indeed.
