I scream, you scream, we all scream for pizza ice cream!

Pizza Ice Cream Exists, Combines Your Favorite Things

When we aren’t thinking about our next DIY project we usually catch ourselves doing one of two things: Daydreaming about pizza or daydreaming about ice cream. So when we discovered a company actually went and combined two of the tastiest food items in life to make an epic dessert we knew they were sent from above.

LA-based gourmet ice cream company Coolhaus recently debuted a piping hot (okay, it’s actually frozen) pizza-flavored ice cream that is sure to get every slice lover intrigued. The pizza ice cream flavor is described as a mascarpone based frozen treat with sun-dried tomatoes, olive oil, basil and a pinch of salt mixed in to give the savory treat the identifiably pizza-like flavor (sans crust). We’ll take it in the form of a slice, a scoop or really however they wanna give it to us, we just *need* to try it.

Currently the slice-inspired flavor — along with other out-there options like Fried Chicken + Waffles, Beer + Pretzels, and Brown Butter Candied Bacon — is only available at Coolhaus’ Culver City and Pasadena locations as well as on its trucks that roam the streets of LA. You better believe we’ve got our never fully satisfied sweet-craving fingers crossed that the pizza ice cream flavor will be heading to a frozen aisle before long, squeezed right between the frozen pies and half gallon desserts.

Do you want to try out Coolhaus’ pizza ice cream as bad as we do? Let us know in the comments.
