Make This Pizza Pasta Salad for Your Next Summer Picnic
We just want to put something out there… if loving carbs is wrong, we don’t wanna be right. (Eat all the carbs!) Pizza and pasta are two of our favorites, so we decided to combine them for one epic recipe mashup. Introducing our pizza pasta salad! It’s the perfect summery dish, it’s easy to make, and it’s a guaranteed crowd pleaser for your next picnic or backyard BBQ. You can thank us later. ;)
Ingredients:
- 8-10 cups cooked bowtie pasta
- 1 bunch basil
- 6-8 sprigs oregano
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1 cup sliced black olives
- 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, shaved
- 7 ounces pepperoni
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Place cooked bowtie pasta in a large bowl. Cut pepperoni pieces into quarters and set aside. Mince garlic cloves. Chop basil and oregano. Add minced garlic and chopped herbs to pasta.
2. Add pepperoni pieces, olives, mozzarella, Parmesan, and salt and pepper to the bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar. Mix to combine. Serve with rosé and enjoy!
