Prince George and Princess Charlotte Will Be in Princess Eugenie’s Royal Wedding Party
Prince George and Princess Charlotte have already proved to be capable (and adorable) wedding party participants in both Pippa Middleton’s wedding and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, and now they’ll be putting their experience to use in Princess Eugenie’s upcoming royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank, too.
George, 5, will serve as a page boy, and Charlotte, 3, will be a bridesmaid — the same roles they undertook in the aforementioned previous weddings.
Princess Eugenie and her husband-to-be also announced the other members of their wedding party on Wednesday, October 10. In addition to Charlotte, the bridal party includes Savannah Philips, 7, and Isla Philips, 6; Eugenie’s goddaughter Maud Windsor, 5; Queen Elizabeth II’s great granddaughter Mia Tindall, 4; and Theodora Williams, 6. Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, will be the maid of honor.
On Brooksbank’s side, the wedding party includes two page boys, Prince George and Louis de Givenchy, 6. The groom’s brother, Tom Brooksbank, will be the best man when they walk down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the same location of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s wedding.
With the wedding just over a week away, many details have emerged in recent days. The Dean of Windsor, The Rt. Revd. David Conner, will officiate; the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will provide the music (along with special guest vocalist Andrea Bocelli); and London’s Sophie Cabot will provide the red velvet and chocolate gateau cake.
Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding will air live on TLC, starting at 4:25am ET, on Friday, October 12.
