Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Wedding Photographer Is the Perfect Choice for Them
With a little over one month to go before the big day, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are finalizing all the details of their Saturday, May 19, wedding. Today, April 13, they revealed their pick for the event’s photographer, and we already know the pics are going to be ones we remember for a lifetime.
Kensington Palace announced on Friday that the couple had chosen Alexi Lubomirski to take the official photographs at Windsor Castle following the wedding at St. George’s Chapel. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because you know him as the celebrated fashion and portrait photographer who captured the pair in their stunning official engagement photos following the news of their engagement.
“I could not be more thrilled or honored to photograph this historic occasion,” Lubomirski said in a statement. “Having taken Prince Harry and Ms. Markle’s engagement photos, it brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story.”
At the time of the engagement photo shoot, Lubomirski said that it was “an immense privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for each other. I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took.”
Given the details that the royal couple have shared so far about the big day — including the Pinterest-worthy cake and floral choices — the photos are sure to be as beautiful as the ceremony.
