Prince Louis’ First Official Photos Were Taken by Kate Middleton
At just two weeks old, Prince Louis Arthur Charles is already stealing hearts the world over! The tiny royal made his grand debut back on April 23 while leaving the hospital with his proud parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Now, we’re getting an even closer look, as the palace has released his official debut portraits — both of which were taken by none other than the Duchess of Cambridge.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace,” the palace announced on Twitter.
In the first aww-worthy snap, which was taken at the family’s home in Kensington Palace on Princess Charlotte’s third birthday, the pint-sized babe looks beyond adorable in a simple white onesie as he sleeps peacefully in his older sister’s lap. His sibling places a sweet kiss on his forehead in a little blue jumper with a frilled collar.
If the shot looks familiar, that’s because it’s similar to the one Duchess Kate took of Prince George holding his little sister after she was first born. Awwww!
The second image shows little Louis just three days after his birth, on April 26, reclining on a big pillow with dark eyes wide open and inquisitive. “The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday,” the palace added.
What a little cutie!
