Princess Eugenie Is Engaged to Jack Brooksbank!
Ring the royal wedding bells — again! Princess Eugenie, daughter of Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and Prince Andrew, is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank.
According to a statement from the Duke and Duchess of York, the pair got engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month after seven years of dating, and are set to wed in the fall of 2018 at George’s Chapel in Windsor — the same location where Eugenie’s cousin Prince Harry and his fianceé, Meghan Markle, will get married on May 19, 2018.
Following the announcement of their engagement, the happy couple posed for engagement photos in the Picture Gallery at Buckingham Palace, where Princess Eugenie showed off her beautiful ring.
Proud mom “Fergie” took to Twitter to share her excitement, sharing a series of photos of the happy couple. “Total joy!!!” she exclaimed in one tweet. “We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son, a brother, and a best friend. Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony.”
But the love didn’t stop there. On another shot of the happy couple, she wrote, “I always say that the river flows well to its destiny because of the guidance of a solid rock.”

Prince Andrew had his own encouraging words for his soon-to-be son in law, calling Jack an “outstanding man” and saying that he’s thrilled for his daughter.
And the groom’s parents shared their happiness in a statement via the Duke of York’s Twitter account: “Mr. Jack Brooksbank’s parents, Nicola and George, said of the engagement of HRH Princess Eugenie to their son, that they were ‘completely over the moon’ and ‘very excited’ for the couple. ‘We could not be more delighted with the news of the engagement.'”
As was the case with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the family will provide more wedding details in due time.
Congrats to the happy couple and their families!
