Professor Who Predicted Donald Trump’s Win Now Says He’ll Be Impeached
Though we were all devastated by Boots the “psychic” Goat’s errant election prediction (who can we trust if we can’t trust a psychic goat?!), where he failed, another found vindication. Sort of. Professor Allan Lichtman, AKA “Prediction Professor,” has accurately called every presidential election since 1984. Um, wow. That’s why people are listening to what he has to say about Donald Trump. Not only did Lichtman correctly predict the president-elect’s win, he’s also saying the Trump will sooner or later be impeached.
“My prediction is, based on my gut, that there’s a very good chance that Donald Trump could face impeachment,” said the political historian who teaches at the American University in Washington (and a dude who has never been wrong when it comes to political predictions), while chatting with CNN.

So why does Lichtman feel this way? Well, among other issues, Donald Trump has always “played fast and loose with the law,” and this tactic obviously won’t work well while leading the country. “He has run an illegal charity in New York state. He has made an illegal campaign contribution through that charity. He has used the charity to settle personal business debts. He faces a RICO lawsuit.” And that’s just the beginning. Lichtman keeps the list going and, yowza.
He also added that it’s not just the Democrats that may be aiming for impeachment. Trump’s own party might be out to get him booted, with Lichtman explaining, “The Republicans are nervous about Donald Trump. He is a loose cannon. Nobody knows what he really believes or really where he stands. He can’t be controlled.”
No doubt this is going to be a bumpy (controversy-ridden) road ahead.
