Project Décor: A New Way to Design + Decorate Your Dream Home
We’re always stumbling across inspiration for sprucing up, redesigning, and updating our homes. Whether we’re hoping to delve into the world of affordable interior design with Tastemaker or planning your dream home via your iPhone, we love finding new ways to decorate.
Project Décor is our latest find and is a pretty sweet combination of Polyvore, Pinterest and Svpply.
Described as a digital doorway to the world’s best contemporary design and home furnishings, Project Décor is both a source and resource in one. It makes designing the home of your dreams just a little more accessible.
Like Polyvore, it lets you create inspiration and mood boards centered around a room or theme. Like Pinterest, you can easily add your favorite items to a board or Tearbox. And like Svpply, you can easily shop the items once you’ve found your faves. Pull from Project Décor’s collection, upload your own photos, or include links to products you’ve found online.
Items can be purchased directly from the site, making it easy to create a dream cart for your brand new living room.
If you don’t know where to start, browse the site’s collection of interiors designed by top designers and tastemakers in the design and décor community. We love the Primary Palette board above and and all the chairs below for the office.
We’re working on our own office design board as we continue to spruce things up here at Brit HQ.
What does your dream workspace or kitchen look like? Leave us links to your boards in the comments below – we’d love to see what you come up with.
