Drew Scott Dishes on His Upcoming Wedding to Linda Phan
Now that Drew Scott’s spin around the floor on Dancing With the Stars is over, the Property Brothers star is focused on a very different kind of challenge — planning his upcoming wedding!
The 39-year-old recently opened up to Us Weekly about the current state of his preparations with his 32-year-old fiancée, Linda Phan, and according to the groom-to-be, the pair intend to “get into full gear” in the coming months.
That means finding a venue for the ceremony, which they hope to hold in Italy sometime in May. Beyond that, he said, “We’re coming up with some handcrafted fun stuff for everybody, designing the cake, and designing different aspects of what we want the ceremony to look like.” He added, “There are a lot of elements going into it, but the main thing for us is, we want to spend time with our family and friends and celebrate.”
Phan hasn’t chosen a wedding dress yet, but Scott has no doubts about what he’ll be wearing. “I’m Scottish, so there will definitely be a kilt utilized.”
He figures the rest of the details will fall into place in due time, telling Us Weekly, “I think once we lock down a location, everything else will be easier.”
As for the fancy footwork he learned while on DWTS, he’s been keeping it up so he can put it to good use on his big day. “I want to keep practicing,” he said, “so I’m ready for my first dance with Linda.”
