Think you need a smoker or a BBQ pit to make your own pulled pork? No way! You can totally make delicious pulled pork at home in your oven. You just need a few basic spices and some patience. We teamed up with LAY’S® Wavy to create this recipe inspired by their Hickory BBQ Potato Chips.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

– 1 cup LAY’S®Wavy Hickory BBQ Potato Chips

– 6 potato buns or soft hamburger buns

– 1 4-pound boneless pork shoulder

– 2 tablespoons paprika

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 1 tablespoon garlic powder

– 1 tablespoon chili powder

– 1 tablespoon salt

– 2 teaspoons pepper

– 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions:

1. Place pork in a roasting pan. In a small bowl, combine paprika, sugar, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Rub spice mixture over pork. Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.

2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Roast pork for at least 4 hours. Let cool 10 minutes. Shred pork.

3. In a bowl, mix together pulled pork and BBQ sauce. Spoon pork onto the bottom of a bun. Top with a handful of chips. Cover with the bun top.
