WTF? Pumpecapple Piecake Exists!
They say everything is bigger in Texas, and if this dessert doesn’t prove it… well, we don’t know what will. Three Brothers Bakery of Houston makes an insane layered dessert called the Pumpecapple Piecake that sells for $175 and is the ultimate trifecta of decadent autumnal desserts.
This three-in-one treat weighs a whopping 23.5 pounds and stands a foot tall. (Yep, this food baby is actually more like a food toddler.) The tower of piecake starts off with an apple pie baked in a spice cake, then a pecan pie baked in a chocolate cake, topped with a pumpkin pie baked in a pumpkin spice cake. These three layers are stacked together and slathered with a healthy dose of cream cheese frosting. The whole thing is then garnished with toasted chopped pecans and generously drizzled with caramel. Um… we’re getting a sugar rush just looking at it.
Oh. Yeah. We know what we’re bringing to Thanksgiving dinner this year — buy or DIY? Either way, let the fam know they’ll need to loosen up their belt buckles in advance for this one!
