‘Queer Eye’ Star Karamo Brown Is Engaged!
Get the celebratory guacamole ready! Queer Eye star Karamo Brown is engaged to longtime boyfriend Ian Jordan, having popped the question during a surprise party for Jordan’s birthday.
The Queer Eye culture expert got down on one knee at the Hyde Sunset in Los Angeles, where he had planned a beautiful party for his director boyfriend of eight years. “You are the funniest man I know, the kindest man, my biggest cheerleader,” Brown told Jordan, according to Entertainment Tonight. “You made me feel like I could do anything.”
E! News reports that he proposed with two rings by David Yurman, one black band and one silver band. He reportedly got himself the same rings and had them all engraved.
Brown’s Queer Eye besties and fellow Fab Fivers Bobby Berk, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness were in attendance for the engagement, and they all celebrated into the night, surrounded by custom floral decor, drinks and cake, and a live DJ.
“Full crying,” Van Ness wrote in his Instagram Stories. “He produced this so well. I love love love.”
Earlier in the day, Brown had wished his beau a happy birthday on Instagram. “I love you because of your heart, your humor but mostly because you don’t mind serving #GlamourShots realness w/ me anytime I ask,” he wrote alongside a perfectly posed pic of the two. “I pray today and this year brings you everything your heart desires.”
Brown’s exciting news comes on the heels of reports that a fan-favorite from the Netflix show, contestant Tom Jackson, has officially remarried his ex-wife Abby. Congrats to all of the lovebirds!
