Rachel McAdams Just Wore Every Trend Ever All at Once on the Red Carpet
Rachel McAdams typically keeps things pretty classic on the red carpet. Whether it’s that watercolor inspired Elie Saab dress she wore to the Oscars or that flawless white gown she sported at the premiere of About Time, her red carpet style tends to be as timeless as she is. However, it seems as though she decided to switch things up for her most recent outing by rocking a look that wasn’t just trendy – it featured literally ALL the trends.
While at a Vanity Fair dinner in LA last night, Rachel stepped out wearing this navy blue dress by David Koma. To be honest, our eyes aren’t really sure where to look first. Should we focus on those shoulder cutouts? That crazy ruffle detailing on the arm? The long sleeves? The midi hemline? There’s just so much to see!
While this maximalist dress is certainly a dramatic shift from her usual style, there is something to be said for opting out of your sartorial comfort zone. This might have been a little too much of a jump but hey, we commend her nevertheless.
