Fashion Editors Are Obsessed With These Summertime Earrings
Every season has those “It” items. You know the ones we’re talking about — that bag you see all over your social media, those shoes splashed across the pages of fashion magazines, and that dress that everyone seems to be wearing. This season’s go-to accessory is the aptly named Les Bonbons earring from Rebecca de Ravenel, and we couldn’t think of a more perfect accessory for summer.
Fun, colorful, and bold, the Rebecca De Ravenel Don’t Worry Drop Earrings ($345) have been seen on stars including Lupita Nyong’o and Selena Gomez, and their appearance in magazines like Teen Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar prove that they’re loved by the big-wigs in the fashion world too. De Ravenel’s influences come from her childhood spent in Paris and the Bahamas, and, as a result, Les Bonbon earrings are playful, but with an urban flair that makes them equally appropriate for the beach or the red carpet.
Each pair of earrings is individually hand embroidered in India, and the hollow shell makes them surprisingly lightweight, despite their size. The earrings are currently available in a three-drop style priced at $295, a four drop style for $325, and the truly statement-making six drop design (worn by Selena Gomez, above) that goes for $345. Each style comes in six colorful hues with vacay-worthy names like Sunny, Bomba, and Calypso.
As gorgeous as these earrings are, we know that they’re also not the most affordable. But luckily this style is so popular, there are already several similar versions available at more wallet-friendly prices, like BaubleBar’s Criselda Ball Drop Earrings ($58) and Olive + Piper’s Miramar Sequined Drops ($34). So whether you choose to splurge or save, these earrings are the only ones you need this summer.
