Jeffree Star’s Genius Hack Keeps Your Under-Eye Area from Creasing

Under eye concealer is the beauty staple of the perennially exhausted. It’s as essential to morning coffee to help us feel ready to take on the day. The only problem is, by the end of the day, without proper setting, the concealer can turn into a creased mess. But a new tip from a very useful Reddit thread makes it so that doesn’t have to be the case.

One user watched a Jeffree Star YouTube tutorial and found an easy hack for faking well-restedness that will actually last all day. User Rango_1 shared her success story in the beauty thread, saying, “I used to have such a hard time getting my undereye concealer not to crease. I watched Jeffree Star’s video and saw he used a damp beauty blender with powder to set the undereye instead of a brush and now my undereye never creases!!”

The pro used a damp BeautyBlender ($20) with translucent setting powder to set the concealer in place. Star dips the damp BeautyBlender in Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38) and sets it over the concealer, then lets it dry.

Other Redditors vouched for the hack. “Yes to this tip!,” wrote user Skillary. “I just accepted that I will always crease until I watched that video. I do genetically have some lines under my eye that I have to just deal with but the concealer creases made it look much worse until I tried that trick.” User midnight_anise said, “I tried this for the first time yesterday, and wow. Zero creasing and my undereye looked perfect. My new favorite trick!”
