Reese Witherspoon’s Teenage Picture Makes Her Look More Like Daughter Ava Phillippe Than Ever
Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe have been making us (and everyone else!) do a double take for quite some time now with their side-by-side red carpet and social media pics.
Whether they’re hitting up a movie premiere in similar glitzy gowns or modeling the latest wares from Draper James, there’s no denying the resemblance between these two beauties, despite any (totally valid) misgivings dad Ryan Phillippe may have.
The Big Little Lies actress’s latest throwback pic, however, took their uncanny similarities next level. Posting a photo from her days of puberty as part of Stephen Colbert and Nick Kroll’s #PuberMe challenge for charity, Witherspoon, 41, gave us a glimpse at what she looked like at 14, and — you guessed it! — the answer is just. Like. Ava.
“Giant glasses, awkward hands, feeling 14!” she wrote. “All for a good cause. God bless Puerto Rico.”
Though Phillippe is a few years older now than her mom was in the shot (she just celebrated her 18th birthday), it’s still a pretty close match to the teen, who shares her features and joy-inducing smile.
We mean, who’s even who? What a gorgeous pair!
